I'm was a product person here, joining a company of ~60. Our mission was to grow lending volumes through automation and great partnerships. I delivered improvements in automation to increase operational capacity and improve customer experience. Having a top tech stack helps with that, and I was managing the transition to Kotlin and React for some of our product. Fluro was formerly known as Lending Works ⚙️

I joined a team of ~30 in 2016 and did a lot of data-related things including data engineering, reporting/dashboarding and some data science too. I had freedom to do work that unlocked the value in data. I later moved into a data-science-meets-product type role. I absolutely loved working with all functions of the business - operations, marketing, retention, finance, developers and other data peeps.
I saw the company grow from offering delivery in the UK only, to the UK, Ireland, France and Germany. After acquisitions of bloomon and Bergamotte, I left in 2021 with the UK team standing at 180+ and the global headcount over 400 🚀
